Ambulance services said 15 people were wounded. The blast occurred about 6 p.m. (11 a.m. ET), as soldiers and employees at a nearby hospital would have been at the bus stop -- which also serves as a hitchhiking station -- to head home at the end of their work day. Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman David Seranga said police were investigating the possibility that the bomber, who also died in the blast, may have been female. There was no immediate claim of responsibility. Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, in India for an official state visit, was told about Tuesday's bombing before he began a dinner with Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, according to senior advisor Ra'anan Gissin. "Terror is a worldwide problem that must be fought without compromise and relentlessly," Gissin, who is traveling with the prime minister, quoted Sharon as saying.
