...agician called Gandalf, who had the appearance of an old tall man with a long beard. Gandalf told Bilbo about an adventure he wanted him to participate on, with 13 other dwarfs. After hesitating a little bit he finally decided to go, it was a quest to kill an old dragon that had occupied a dwarf mountain that was full of money and where the dwarfs made their mining. During the long journey they lived plenty of different exciting adventures, one of them was to get through a long mountain that was full of ugly orcs, that was the place where Bilbo found the ring that was going to change live in the Middle Earth some years after, but he did not noticed that. After taking it from Gollum, an old and crazy hobbit that had lived in the mountain of the orcs for lots of years, Bilbo used that ring to disappear from the sight of every living creature, it became his lucky ring. After fighting against orcs, ogres and every type of evil creature, finally the 13 dwarfs and the hobbit Bilbo got to the very important mountain, when they got there they found out that the dragon was not there (it had been killed by a man that lived on a town at a lake that was being attacked by the dragon), but not only the quest knew that there was no dragon. The evil creatures heard about the death of the dragon so they rapidly went to take the gold. So a huge war started between the dwarfs that wanted to protect their gold and every other foreign creature. At the war many of the dwarfs of the quest died, but Bilbo stayed alive, he finally returned to the Shire with lots of dwarf presents and finally got to rest “for a while”. The most positive things of this book is it that everything is so perfectly described that you can create the Middle Earth easily in your head.
