The next instrument in the piece comes in at two minutes twenty-one seconds however continues the musical idea (B). The musical idea leads into idea B through a transition that lasts 30 seconds at three minutes and forty-seven seconds. As the piece comes to an end, there are smaller sections that combine the instruments. The first of the set involves idea A which lasts up to four minutes and eighteen seconds and then transitions into idea B. Unity and Variety are used throughout the different musical ideas that help to distinguish the ideas. Dynamics is used to help transition between the different instruments. The timbre helps to distinguish the two ideas by producing variety between the ideas. Pitch also was key because it gave a new musical idea (A) a lower sounding sound, then the other (B).
