The acids from acid rain clog fish gills which suffocate the fish and they die very quickly. Also acid rain does damage to old buildings made of sandstone and limestone because the acid in the rain will dissolve it. Some possible solutions to this disaster is we could limestone our lakes and soil which would thus when the acid rain hits the lake the limestone would dissolve the acid and problem solved, but the down side is it is very cost worthy. There is also the possibility we could do nothing and just let everything go on the way it is, but that is very risky because eventually forests and lakes would be destroyed and if plants cant carry out photosynthesis they ca...
