...ward with him; Edward twisted himself free and ran away. Edward decided to try to convince the people that he was a prince. They all still laughed at him and did not believe him. But one person pretended to believe him, Miles Hendon. He defended Edward. He did not believe Edward was the Prince, but decided to take care of him until he figured out he wasn’t the prince. He decided to go with Edward to the village. Miles had not been to the village for seven years. He was excited to see his dad, his big brother, Arthur, and Edith, his true love. While they were on their way to the village they heard that the King had died. Edward was very upset to hear that his dad had died. He knew he had to hurry up and get back to the castle. When they made it to the village Miles found out his dad and brother were dead and his little brother took over everything and stole his one true love, Edith. They acted like they had no idea who Miles was and had Miles and Edward thrown into jail for being beggars. When they were in prison Edward realized how bad things really were outside of the castle. For example, there were to women prisoners that were being nice to them and they were taken out and burned at the stake for being Baptists. He also learned about another guy who stole some cloth from a weaver, was going to be hanged for it. But Edward was really mad when he heard about a young prisoner, who found an escaped hawk and took it home. He was accused of stealing the bird was put to death. Edward learned a huge lesson: Everyone he trusted was doing terrible things to common people, and that he could not trust them just because they work for him. Miles went to trial and after his release he and Edward rushed back to the castle because Tom was getting ready to be crowned King. Tom Canty, was having fun being a prince. At first he felt like he was a prisoner because he had to get used to people dressing him and had to use table manners. He had to worry about all the boring work. He had to listen to things, read and sign papers. He thought it was boring. But then Tom met Edward's servant boy, who told Tom all about the ways of the castle, and how to deal with everything in the castle. He was a life saver for Tom. Everything he learned from the servant made him more comfortable as a prince, and he was able to show everyone on the castle he wasn’t crazy. Tom started to like being a prince. In the beginning, he felt bad for the prince and could not wait for him to get back. But the longer it took for Edward to get back he slowly thought less and less about him. Sometimes he would thing about Edward and would feel bad and would try hard to get him out of his mind. When the King of England died, Tom was excited that he was going to be crowned the next king. All the people from the village came to Westminster Abbey to see the coronation of King Edwa...
