...at I’ve often been upset for a grade that the teachers given me. But it’s the effort that’s put forth by the student that establishes the mark they receive. The school system’s grading from the past to the present has changed immensely. Back then average grades for entrance into any post secondary education couldn’t have been as high as compared to nowadays. Today students in my grade are worried about how their going to get into University or Collage if they don’t buckle down and get a 90% or higher in their Pre Calculus Math course, or if their overall average isn’t a 95% or higher. Do all these post secondary education institutions expect us to be Einstein? A student for the most part would put forth their best efforts. Best efforts with disappointing results such as not being accept into a University that they wanted to go to, is a humiliation, not only to the person but to the parents and family. One question that I am curious about though is, would the teacher really fail Biff Loman if he went to every class, put in 100% effort, and did all...
