DECRIPTION OF A CIVIC PROJECT

... to make a difference in our community. It was amazing the way the team was formed, our advisor, Mrs. Barrett, began talking to members about civic opportunities. During the course of the conversation, there were three of us that emerged as leaders for the event. We barley knew each other but seemed to thrive off the others excitement and ideas. Mrs. Barrett asked if we would be interested in leading up the jail bail and we all agreed. Our team very quickly realized that there were many questions that needed to be answered by MDA officials. We contacted the local office and spoke to Ms. Rachel Price and invited her to speak to our group. She was very informative and got the members even more excited about the prospective event. The next step for our team was to outline some of the guidelines to make our lock up successful. Listed below was the criteria we used to begin the fund raiser. Request a demographic, psycographic, and geographic report from the Scott County Board of Statistics. Conduct a survey to determine the skills and talents of our members so that the team could delegate tasks efficiently.
