...r forming a utopian society has flashed through nearly every person’s mind. A few people have even tried to make this ideal dream society a reality. Unfortunately, within the pursuit of these societies the leaders become corrupt and begin to become paranoid with the fear of rebellion. As a North American citizen, it would be easy to say we should encourage both unity and diversity, but, in truth, it is almost impossible to implement such a great idea. Our nation would be a utopian society if we could implement both global or nation-wide unity while keeping our citizen’s diverse. Moreover, knowing the fact that my idea of a Utopian society is not necessarily relevant to everyone is crucial to all people. The reason is because my idea of an ideal society is only suitable for those who agree that a Utopia is, a place with peace, happiness, and love. Those who view a Utopia society differently from what I do may believe a Utopian society to be one with food, fairness, equality, shelter, and friends. These individuals, who have a different view of a Utopia, will definitely not be included in my idea of a Utopian society. In relation to a novel, The Lord of the Flies, there are numerous examples regarding to the kinds of people that will agree or disagree with my vision of a Utopian Society. The characters of Ralph and Piggy may agree, while the character of Jack will definitely disagree. The reason is because both Ralph and Piggy believe a Utopian society to be one that is orderly civilized and one with family members.
