...ped to organize each team member’s individual part into a fluid presentation. During the same semester my MIS team had to create a website. Since I had no knowledge of web design, I let my team member who did design the site, but put in a lot of input into the content of the site and suggested color schemes that were visually appealing. I let my teammate shine using her strengths while I used mine. Even though I worked only as waitress, I did my best to get the most out of my job and take on tasks that were outside of the scope of waiting tables. I took my skills that I learned in my classes and applied them to my job. I was in charge of scheduling, wrote two training manuals and prepared essential work papers. Weakness My first couple of years in school, I didn’t do very well in my classes. At the time, I was a bit lost in my life. I didn’t know what I wanted to do for my career. I didn’t have any clear goals. I was taking a lot of general education requirements that weren’t giving me any idea of what I wanted to do in a business setting. But once I started taking my more advanced business classes, I really started to find out that I was not only good at accounting, but enjoyed my management classes as well. What I need to know I’d like to know what kind of environment I’d be working in. I want to work in an environment where I can consider my co-workers my friends and where people work together to get a job done.
