...tice. As an apprentice Scrooge didn’t have a love for money and was a jolly guy. Scrooge realizes that there is still hope for him to change because he had Christmas spirit inside of him before. The next place Scrooge goes is with his fiancee Belle on a walk. Unfortunately for Scrooge Belle ended their engagement because of Scrooge’s love for money and no love for her. Scrooge is deeply hurt by Belle ending their engagement and doesn’t even persuade her not to go. Scrooge learned from this event that he should have chased after the only person he ever loved. The Ghost of Christmas Present Scrooge is awaiting the arrival the Ghost of Christmas Present when he hears a loud and joyful laugh coming from the next room. Scrooge walks over to the door and hopes that it’s the Ghost of Christmas Present he hears from the next room. Luckily when Scrooge opens the door he is excited for the ghost because he gets the shock of his life. Scrooge sees a large man sitting on a food throne. This ghost represents bounty and plenty. This is connected to Scrooge because he also has bounty and plenty in his life. This man is also dressed like a king on his throne. The first place the spirit takes Scrooge is Fred’s house. Fred is Scrooge’s nephew who offered Scrooge a invitation to Christmas Dinner. At Fred’s house Scrooge watches everyone have fun eating and playing games. Scrooge even witnesses Fred’s wife asking why Fred even bothers to invite Scrooge to any of their family functions. Scrooge learns from this visit to Fred’s house that someone in this world actually cares about im. He also learns that spending time with your family is not humbug. The next place Scrooge is taken by the ghost is to Bob Cratchit’s house. When Scrooge arrives at Bob’s house he is shocked that the man that he has employed for years has a crippled son. Scrooge never really thought of becoming familiar with Bob’s family. “Tell me spirit will Tiny Tim live”, Scrooge asks to the ghost. Scrooge learns that Bob Cratchit has a crippled son that is most likely to die soon. The third and final place Scrooge goes is a ship out in the middle of the ocean. Scrooge does not know anyone on the boat but it still has a huge effect on him. On the boat many sailors on down below the deck singing, drinking, and having a good time even though their away from their families on Christmas they still have spirit. Scrooge learns that even if he’s not their with his family he still can be nice and have good spirit. Scrooge is a waiting the third and final ghost. Suddenly a ghost appears. The spirit is tall and dark. As Scrooge notices the spirit does not talk but only points. Scrooge asks many questions about his future, but the ghost just still points.
