...tries. Some other weapons used in war were machine guns, which needed 4-6 men to operate them, they had the fire power of 100 guns, knifes and lots of different kinds of guns. There were many different kinds os gases. The most deadly gas was mustard gas. This gas would blister the outside of the skin, make you vomit, make your eyes sore, and make you bleed internally and externally. This weapons killed many of people trying to protect there country. Germany and France were two countries that started getting ready for war to start years before it actually did start, both of these countries had doubled up on people to fight for war. The war was something that changed everyday life for many of people. When going through the war the Western world was not ready for the unpredicted changes in every area of the society. Industrial wealth and expansion had a impact on the world and every day life. But some of these changes lead to conflicts and differences that were not easy to fix. There were battles over sea that were happening. There was competition between Britain, Germany, France and more countries for the mastery of the seas. The British and Germany were making there battle ships to attack one another. So not only on land were the countries fighting but also in the blue water of the seas. There were the allis and the central powers. Central powers were in the war since day one, this was Germany, Bulgaria, the Ottoman Empire, and Austria Hungary. Central powers means an alliance. The allies were not really known tell World War II. Trenches in the war were being built like crazy. The first major trench lines were done being built in the late year of 1914.
