Apology to the sub
...ass, he just wanted to go home. Honestly, I don’t remember seeing anyone sneak out, the only time anyone left was when the bell rang and he wouldn’t let us out. So I’m sure that is when they “snuck out”. However, that shouldn’t matter because the bell had already rang. I am not trying to blame the substitute for our behavior, but he was not paying much attention to the class. Another thing the class did was make harsh comments to him. I don’t blame him for not letting us out right when the bell rang because we deserved it. Now that I have told you what the rest of the class has done, I would like to tell you what I did. So as not to blame everyone but myself. I took some notes on the video. However, I did not completely finish them. I was not talking or being verbally rude to the substitute. I did pass a few notes though. I will also admit that I was not being as respectful as I could have been. I think the reason why I behaved in this manner was simply because he was a substitute. Ever since anyone can remember we have all been told to “...forget the sub, he/she’s not our teacher. They cant do anything...”, but in fact, that is hugely wrong. Which leads me to my next subject, what I should have done. I should have watched the video completely. Instead of passing notes, I probably should have told everyone else to be a little more respectful to the substitute. However, Im not sure if that would stop all of the horrible behavior, but it would have helped. If I had been a little more respectful, along with everyone else, we would not...
