Even once remote and untouched areas can’t escape from the interference of tourists. In addition to damaging effects on the environment, tourism may have an adverse social and cultural effect on local people. The extreme concentration of tourist may cause a certain amount of antagonism and thus give rise to the resentment of tourist. Moreover, the influx of large number of tourists will have a “demonstration effect”, which introduces foreign ideologies and ways of living into societies that have not been exposed to tourist lifestyles.
