Back In August
... take a shower, and eat a big breakfast. Then wait for the bus at six forty-six. I also look forward to using my locker combination and seeing old friends. Finally, the last thing I look forward to is coming home after a long day of school. I looked forward to many things in back in August but I also feared many things too. The thing I feared most was getting too much homework. I knew that being a high school student means doing lots of homework. Getting too much homework is scary, but meeting new teachers is much more frightening. I didn't know which teachers to avoid so I didn't know what to expect. The last thing I feared about high school was that I would never remember where my classes met and how I would get lost, I was nervous about the many different classes there were and the long schedule that I must follow.
