Yes, Whether you uphold what is right, the innocence of my client, or if you disgrace this mighty court. So it is your responsibility to find my client within what the scales of justice would call innocent or guilty. Well with the testimonies that me and my co-councel have presented it has become apparent that my client is innocent. Chris Mathews has committed no crime, he has been accused of giving a command to his dog by two different witnesses, however these witnesses have given sworn statements that differ greatly from each other. I ask you why would two people who saw the same event testify that they heard two greatly different things. My client has been the victim of the prosecutions blatantly accusative and hearsay based evidence. With all respect to the deceased it is his own fault, my client has testified that if the deceased had simply used the public access path then the confrontation leading up to the attack would have never occurred. The deceased violated a restraining order when he walked into my clients yard, my client assuming the worst became aggravated and fearful at this time.
