Almost always anticipating the worst even though there is little reason to expect it. This type of anxiety is accompanied by physical symptoms such as fatigue, trembling, muscle tension, headaches, and or nausea. Most common in the United States, approximately 5.2million people a year suffer from this disorder. Anxiety mainly occurs in women rather then men with a 2 to 1 ratio and costs the United States as a whole sum of approximately 44 billion dollars a year in indirect and direct healthcare costs. Which is in fact a third of United States yearly healthcare bill of 148 billion dollars. Anxiety disorder is defined by a period of anxiety and worry along with the associated symptoms in youth this condition is recognized as “overanxious disorder”.
