My co-worker obliged with the robber’s wishes. He then asked me to open the safe and I told him I can’t open it. I managed to get the draw open and he snatched the money out the draw. He then pulled the phone out the wall and made off into the night with the money. I immediately locked the door and push the button to activate the alarm. It was over. I thank God that my co-worker and I weren’t killed. According to the author in stereotypes, he is conveying that one should judge a person by his or her appearance. For instance, my youngest son wears baggy pants, long tee shirts and head rags. This is the typical uniform of a urban thug but he doesn’t possess the mentality of one even though he wears the “outfit” of one.
