...work under such blazingly fast speeds. With your current network speed of 100Mbits/sec and with one router and 8 hubs for each department with 12 terminal computers on each, calculations show that each end PC user would get about 130Kb/s (100Mbit/8hubs/12PCs/8bits). This speed could be reached only under perfect circumstances. But the world is not perfect and with any hub on the market, each users PC has to wait for its turn to communicate with a server, which simply increases the waiting time for each user. One of the solutions would be upgrading a hub to a switch which would increase the speed of a network and eliminate the waiting time for each PC to communicate with a server but since it is eliminated, all users send the packets all at the same time which means that the server will have to deal with more packets simultaneously, and if unable to, the packets would stack up in the switch and may overflow the inside buffer. To avoid that, the main server machine has to be upgraded. By doing so, all the files have to be transferred from the old server to a new one, which is very time-consuming. Another option available is to switch to a faster network along with high quality hardware to support that kind of speeds. That is exactly what we are offering. Using a Fiber Optics technology and a new Internet II, the transfer rate is now at a 10Gbit/sec mark. Doing the same calculations (10000Mbit/8/12/8), each employee (end PC user) would get as much as 13Mb/s. The way it will work is as following: the main network structure would have to modified, so instead of one router and 8 hubs, it will use 6 routers for all 96 employees and only one Fiber Hub to connect them all to your ISP (Internet Service Provider). This way the network is optimized to its best and the maximum yields would be obtained. To prove it, here are some of the examples of our previous work done for the companies that now have increased their sales by up to 30% just because of a faster processing speeds and safer transactions: -eBay (www.ebay.com) Upgraded from a 10baseT (1997) to a 100baseT4 (1999) and then to a 10baseFL (2001). (Increased sales by 25% - eBay survey) -Universal Records (www.universalrecords.com) Upgraded from 10baseT (1996) to a 100baseT4 (1999) and rewired the entire network which optimized it by 35%. -LG Electronics (www.lge.com) Completely networked the main office in Vancouver. With such a heavy experience we have a reputation of a company that provides real networking solutions that works! PC Magazine (23rd ed. 2003). Despite the fact that we offer only high quality service, we are still the only company that offers unbeatable prices. Having a completely customized option choice we offer the best plans suitable for each individual firm. In the case of WestLife Inc. the network solution that is being installed is broken up, in terms of fees, as following: -Hardware (includes 6 routers, 1 fiber hub, fiber optic wires) costs = $ 24999.95 -Service (installation) = $ 7999.95 Optional: -Maintenance (once a week) = $99.95/month -Web Hosting (100MB web space, 100 email addresses) = $49.95/month -24/7 Technical Support = $ 9.95/month As it is clearly seen, prices are fairly affordable for this kind of quality of network. Yet, to provide the full 100% of that quality, it takes a very skillful, committed and highly experienced team of professio...
