The Muslim scholars threatened those who disobey these orders with eternal damnation in hell. Meanwhile, in the Netherlands, a filmmaker who shot a movie critical of Islam was stabbed to death. A five-page note threatening to kill several Dutch politicians was driven into the filmmaker’s chest. Since the killing, Molotov cocktails have been thrown at Protestant churches in two Dutch towns.
