...the best friends that Harry would ever have. Both Ron and Hermione would soon conclude that Harry was a kind-hearted and brave young man. When the three new students arrived at the school for the first time, Harry showed that he was indeed kind-hearted. A young man named Luscious Malfoy went up to Harry and told him that he could introduce him to the “right” kind of people. Harry seemed to be interested but then kindly declined his offer. “You shouldn’t be hanging around these mud-bloods, we pure-bloods should stick together.” This foreshadowed Harry’s commitment to his friendship towards Ron and Hermione. For example, later in the story, Hermione is attacked by a mountain troll, Harry and Ron work together along with Hermione to stop the trolls rampage. Later on in the year, Harry, Ron, and Hermione came across many obstacles, all of which Harry faced with courage. One example of this situation was when Voldemort, an evil wizard who killed both of Harry’s parents, tried to kill Harry. Harry stood face to face with Voldemort as his life was in danger. Harry was afraid of him but did not cower in his fear. He stood up to Voldemort and held his ground. Harry had in his possession a rare stone that could be made into the elixir of life. Voldemort wanted this stone but Harry would not give Voldemort ...
