	Uncle Shamus by John Duffy
	I feel that one of the most interesting facts of this book is that Uncle Shamus was in the West Texas State Penitentiary for thirty years for robbing an armored car and never telling where the money was still hidden and an old retired security guard is trying to get him to tell where the money is hidden so that he could go recover it and get the reward for himself. The setting of Uncle Shamus was on Prairie Avenue an old run down street in Shanty Town where Akers, Marleena and Uncle Shamus lived. The characters in the book are Akers, Marleena, Uncle Shamus, Buddy, and Clyde. Akers was a little boy who lived on Prairie Avenue and was very poor, but very willing and he helped Uncle Shamus. Approximate Word count = 545 Approximate Pages = 2.2 (250 words per page double spaced)
