...erm “romance” believe that love was the only thing that was written. Although love was incorporated in these poems, it was only a small addition to what romantic poets wanted to write about. Nature was a large portion of the Romantic Period. In a lot of the poems that were created, nature’s forces are used as metaphors to inspire the poet. One of the most famous poets known for incorporating nature in their poems is William Wordsworth. Wordsworth wrote in a time when society was rapidly changing and everything was beginning to pick up.
