What brought me to Tennessee
...wever, it ironically leads into a very desirable college career for me. Those 10 years through elementary school had a big effect on me and my love for the South. However, having to leave such a great place was extremely painful, yet I was able to understand what it was about the South that I love – the leisure that people express through their everyday actions, the less crowded streets, the beautiful weather, etc. I then went to high school in Virginia, but when I graduated, I knew I wanted to go back to the South. Despite what many people may say, Virginia is not the South even if Richmond was the capital of the Confederacy. I was extremely hesitant in making my final decision on which college to attend.
