...d, this didn’t necessarily mean I was popular, in fact probably the most teased out of the class because I didn’t take anyone’s crap and picked the most fights. Granted I was hott stuff, I never listened to anyone. Especially Sister Klein, a nun, also a teacher of the first grade. This often landed me in the corner, praying. Imagine the wild one of the second grade class and that was me. Nothing compares to the one November day in the First Grade when Sister Klein would not let me use the ladies lavatory and she said no. This of course created problems. Furthermore I took it upon my self to go to the bathroom in the middle of classroom. The whole class stared. My initial reaction was ”What the heck are you doing?” but quickly changed to “Sister Klein LOOK!” Sister Klein did not appreciate my comment. I didn’t realize the consequences of my actions until my mother showed up at the school. Mom called me “Samantha Marie Oquendo” when she first saw me sitting in the corner, praying my life way. When she calls me by my full name, I know I’m in trouble. Even though I got to leave school early due to my wet pants, this didn’t mean that my suffering was over.
