Hockey analysis and improvement. Hitting a ball. When hitting a ball the stick needs to be gripped towards the top. The ball needs to be positioned in the centre of your stance. Then swing back and through the ball finishing with the stick pointing towards the desired destination. Things frequently done wrong. Trying to hit the ball to hard may result in crucial mistakes and, can be painful if perfect contact is not obtained. TheWorld war two dramatically altered the social fact of Britain. The evacuation of children mixed the classes together for the first time, which showed people how the other half lived. In the armed forces the classes were mixed they wore the same uniforms, which made them all look the same. This gave the people a vision of what a truly socialist Britain would be like if people survived the war as perceived. The air shelters again, resulted in the classes mixing together. Britain did survive the war the question arose what should happen now? In the early nineteenth century women outside the home were powerless. They wanted this to change and the Pinehurst’s, and the suffragettes signalled this. There campaign was at first a non-violent protest however violence was at times advocated. The campaign was stepped up and many went on hunger strikes. Arthur Birling was a self-satisfied, complacent man. He doesn’t seem to face up to what is in store for him. Mr Birling makes a speech early on in the play talking about the wonderful future, he says “why a friend of mine went over this new linier last week- the titanic- she sails next week-forty-six thousand eight hundred tons- fort-six thousand tons- new York in five days- and every luxury- and unsinkable.” The older members in the play are more reluctant to learn from the inspector.
