Scientists have also learned that the increase ion temperature is due to human activities. There are numerous factors contributing to the rise of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere. The most significant is Carbon Dioxide or CO2. Carbon Dioxide is released into the air by cars. Industrial nation’s overabundance of gas-guzzling cars has contributed highly to the global warming problem. Another contributing factor is factories dumping and releasing pollutants into the air. Another thing we have learned about global warming is that the effects of it could be detrimental to the earth and to humans. It is predicted that if the temperature continues to rise at the current rate many problems, which are already beginning to become apparent, would greatly worsen. Polar ice caps could melt causing a flooding of the ocean that would lead many ocean-front cities to become under water. Also, animals in many areas have begun migration earlier.
