I love how he always questions himself, and his ideas are complex, but the word he uses aren't. That way, I can read the poem in french, and understand the translation, but still make me think about what message he's trying to get through. A few of my other favorites by this wonderful author are, "Destinee" and "Je Vous Ecris d'un Pats Lointain," which is actually prose. Although Michaux is my favorite from the book I've been reading, I just overall enjoy the rest of the pieces. French poetry seems to have an obsession with attempting to become almost pure.
