...his particular exhibit allowed me to see things that I always heard of, but never seen, like the voodoo doll and come to find out that isn’t the original name for them, it is actually called an Nkisi nkondi ‘power figure’ or Fertility Dolls. Also, that had a lot of mask that are being used by the tribes in African for things like wars, and ceremonies. The graphics on all the master pieces are breath taking; the graphics are so detailed for them not to have equipment like carpenters in America. At the exhibit they also had videos of things that go on in Africa, it was somewhat like footage from Nation Geographic’s, also for the videos they had pillows so you could sit down an actually tried to fell like you were in the South African environment.
