(www.rds.org) Most people think all animal testing is squirting shampoo and cosmetics into animals eyes when in fact that is a small small portion of actual animal testing. Most of it is done by respectable scientist in top research labs under humane conditions. In fact most of the time the animals aren’t even alive when they’re bodies are tested. Without animal testing the medical research world would come to a complete hault. Some animal research is being done right now and advaces are being made in the subjects of cancer, Alzheimer’s, HIV AIDs and cystic fibrosis.(www.ampef.org) Another important over looked fact is the use of computer simulation when testing on animals. Most of the time only a single tissue cell is required from the animal and a lot of the times high power computers can make accurate predictions and simulations of test results and experiments. (www.ampef.org) A lot of animal rights groups ask for donations. Where are your donations going? What can they actually do with your money to stop this horrible life saving process that has been going on for years? Why don’t they propose solutions rather than fund raisers. And the truth is many of the animal rights groups get so caught up in their hype that they actually become extremist and use terrorist like tactics to accomplish their objectives. Such...
