The word Sangha refers to the ideal Buddhists community, which consists of those who have reached the higher stages of spiritual development. In most Buddhists countries, monks are expected to live a life of poverty. Monks are also expected to avoid sexual activity. Most monks wear special robes, so that they can be classified easy. Laymen also have an important role in the life of the Sangha. Laymen are expected to honor Buddha, they are expected to follow basic moral rules, they are expected to support the monks, finally they are expected to pay special honor of pictures of Buddha.
