Detective Work
...cklace was stolen on his second day at work! But he didn’t steal the necklace! So he investigated the crime and did the detective work in order to avoid imprisonment! Eventually, he finds out that the robber was a regular attendant for the museum, called “Derek Haliday”. He stole it for the Gilbertson family so they can take the insurance money on it and keep the necklace! The main characters in the story were: Paul, Anna Wain (Paul’s partner in working), Mr. Balfour (the museum curator), Patrick Yardley (an important business man Repsom city), Derek Haliday (an attendant and a partner in the crime), Ian Maxton (an attendant), Roger Foxx (the security guard), Eve Gilbertson (the necklace owner and a partner in the crime), Linda Jones (the secretary), Cora Turner (the employee who is responsible of selling tickets to customers). The best event in the story – in my opinion – is when Paul discovers who is the criminal, because it meant “the good guys win!”, plus… it made me feel that the ending of the story was soon!!!
