... Human skills involve the ability to be able to interact and mingle with other people in the workplace. Mangers need to be good “people persons” if they want the employees to listen to them and respect them. All are needed in the workplace however different levels of command have different amounts of each skill. Mangers usually have less Technical skills and more conceptual and people skills. A CEO of a company may not know much at all about how to fax something out, or be able to type 100 words per minute but they have skills in conducting business and keeping the organization on the right track. Department managers would need more people skills in order to interact with everyone in their department and give orders for the workers to accomplish.
