Schools and communities donate their time and money to a worthy cause, such as; charities or community projects. Any good citizenship helps to make the world and community a stronger place. Each person in the world is a part of different groups and communities. Many people can show their citizenship in different ways. Some people fight poverty and crime. Getting involved in your community has great affects on the world and other people. Even donating a few dollars, giving your time to a charitable project, or anything that can help the world makes a great difference. The United States is a nation of immigrants. People from around the world immigrate to the United States. For the people who travel to the U.S. in hopes to be a citizen the have to go through a long process. Immigrants have to be aware of all the rules and laws, and know about the history of the United States. They should also be good citizens and have allegiance to their country. Unites States citizens do not have to live in the U.S. to be a citizen.
