...istening to others. Organizer/Finisher Members prepare individually (and with the team) the necessary assignments before modules and group meetings. Each person arrives on time, manages work in advance, shows high commitment to tasks and be considerate of the imposed time constraints when meeting. Facilitator/Mover Each member is responsible for initiating team development during the program and for providing structure and reviewing team needs/conflicts when appropriate. This could include organizing special team events or other locations (e.g. Dinner together during assignments). Reviewer/Quality Controller Members are expected to be observant, review team performance and give proper feedback on discussions and assignments. We want to make sure we check the team‘¦s quality of work, assure timely review, and inspire highest standards achievable. 2.2 Team Goals In September 2004 our team identified the following goals: Table 2: Goals by Team Goals We plan to successfully complete the program and at the same time supporting each other in achieving this goal. We seek to maximize our overall learning experience, learning from each other, the professors, and alumni. We would like to achieve exceptional performance with each assignment, participation, exam and course, i.e. our target is to earn an A grade. We will put particular emphasis on observing group dynamics and on learning how to effectively work as a team, face-to-face and virtual. While leveraging each others‘¦ strengths for group sessions, we strive for transferring both knowledge and experience as well as deepening our individual strengths. 2.3 Individual Roles As the team develops, effective roles need to be taken on by members of the group. Each role is identified with a description of activities assigned or expected of the member. We have agreed on a rotation process for the roles and identified members of the team to fit each role for a given length of time (which is for each module). Each role will be reflected on after each module to determine a rotation or exchange of the role. Each member is identified with a specific role but the group also is willing to help each other out regardless of the designated owner.
